Are you interested in

deepening your understanding of how diet impacts the health & well-being of autistic individuals

I am inviting you to join a study group that will meet 5 times over 5 weeks, focusing specifically on the relationship between food and autism.

This series is designed in the style of graduate-level discussion courses. Each 1,5-hour session will begin with a short Qigong practice, feature a 30-40 minute lesson on a specific aspect of diet and its effects on autistic individuals and conclude with a discussion and Q&A. Optional reading materials will be provided to enhance your understanding of each topic.

We will start with the fundamentals of nutrition and its impact on the body, particularly in autistic individuals. As the course progresses, we will explore more complex topics, offering a holistic view of how diet can influence behaviour, mood and overall health. In this context, holistic means considering the broader implications of dietary choices and how they interact with the unique neurological profiles of autistic individuals.

While this group is primarily educational, our goal is to provide personal insights, including a deeper appreciation for how diet affects your own or your loved ones' well-being, a greater sense of empowerment in making dietary choices, and an increased acceptance of neurodivergence.

Your training instructor

My name is Sabine Baeyens and I'm the founder of the Make Children Better® school.

11 years ago, with a very small heart, I boarded a plane for the United States. I'd just had a burn-out and was embarking on a brand new adventure. Today, I'm very proud to present you the Study Group on Food for Autism.

💖 This work and all training programmes are my heart's mission. All my enthusiasm, love, attention and energy are devoted to accompanying my participants. I love nothing more than answering questions, discussing cases and showing you exactly how to get the best results.

All my advanced training, research and life experience come together in this curriculum. The programme is based on:
✓ my lifelong experience living with autism ;
✓ my close collaboration with Dr Silva;
✓ the experience gained from guiding over 500 inspired parents who set out to apply qigong massage for their child ;
✓ knowledge gained from my studies in Chinese healthcare, trauma therapy, coaching and certification as a Healing Tao and Qigong instructor.
